Foodies love living on Amelia Island from casual eateries such as Timoti’s Seafood Shak (Coastal Living gave it a high-five) to the award-winning Salt at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island resort. Whether your taste buds favor American, French, Spanish, Mediterranean, or Southern comfort food, we have something to tempt everyone. There are more than 100 restaurants on the island! Quality healthcare is important to everyone. Here on Amelia Island, we’re fortunate to have Baptist Health Nassau, a community hospital with inpatient and outpatient care. The hospital recently expanded to include a cardiac rehabilitation center and a state-of-the-art 30,000-square-foot surgery center.

In addition to the Baptist Health system, Amelia Island residents have access to Northeast Florida’s premier health care – Mayo Clinic Florida, St. Vincent’s Healthcare, Memorial Hospital, and University of Florida (UF) Health at Jacksonville, the region’s leading academic health center. UF Health is the area’s only Level I trauma center. Wolfson Children’s Hospital is a recognized leader in children’s healthcare.
